Note: If you want to send a particular email to a set of contacts than create a contact group in Outlook 2010 by following the given below steps:
Drag the information from "Left to Right" panel according to the desire from incoming file to Outlook and then click "OK". If you are assured that the column name in first row of spreadsheet will map correctly to Outlook field, then click "Map custom field" to verify. Click "Contacts folder" that you have created and then "Next". If you are importing contacts into existing folder then select the logical selection, Click on "Allow duplicates" if not assured, and click "Next". If the contacts has been importing into a new folder, then the Option setting is unnecessary as there are no duplicates. Click on "browse" button to select the file. Click "Import" tab, "Import and Export Wizard" opens> "Import to a file" > "Next" > "Comma Separated Values" > "Next". Now click on "File" tab in Ribbon, and then "Open" on menu. "Right click" on Contact folder, then "New Folder", type a name for "new folder" and then click "OK". Note: If you are importing contacts in the existing contact folder, then switch to step 2. Import Contact list into Outlook 2010 & 2013 After "selecting a member list", click on the "save and close" button to save distribution list. Know select Member list and click on Ok. Create a "name" for the list, then click "Select Members" button. Go to the "File" menu, select "New", then "Distribution List". Note: If you want to send a particular email to a set of contacts than create a Distribution list by following the given below steps: It not satisfied with mapping, click Ok to close "Map Custom Field" dialog box and click "Finish". Click Back then select the correct folder. Note: If Map custom field is not unavailable, you can choose non contact type folder to import into. If is found that the column name in first row of spreadsheet was not map correctly to Outlook fields, then click "Map custom field" to verify. 
Check Allow duplicates box if you are not assured and click Next. If the file has been imported in the new folder, then the option setting is unnecessary as there are no duplicates, If not select the logical selection.Select the "File" and Click on "OK" button.Click on the "Browse" button to select the file.On the "File" menu, click "Import and Export" > "Next" > "Comma Separated Values" > "Next".Right click on Contact folder and then click New Folder, type name for new folder and then click Ok.To create few folders in Outlook, click Folder list on view menu, unless Folder list is open already. If you are importing contacts into existing folder then skip step 3.Import Contact list into Outlook 2003 & 2007 Change the extension of excel file from.OR Right click on excel file and choose Rename option.Open Excel Files that contain mailing list and save it into CSV format.To Import Excel File in Outlook First Export It into CSV Format
